As awesome as fashion, and jewellery, and beds, and general cleanliness are...
I love camping!
During these days of contoured, plugged in, hyped up living, (which can be thrilling at times,) it is so important to make sure we can still just chill and relax with nothing but our minds and nature for entertainment.
 Good company doesn't hurt either.

My husband and I found some time on our hands and, thanks to the beautiful nature Canada has to offer, decided to venture out to the woods for a night.
Ok, so we rented a campsite close to a toilet in a Provincial park, but for many that is close enough to wild living.
I thought I'd take this opportunity to share some of my favourite things I bring with me, and some outfits I wore.

I usually don't wear make-up while camping, but I like to bring some for the trip home, or if, on the odd occasion, we end up going into town for a evening.
I still keep it simple with a trusty waterproof mascara and my favourite shade of shimmery shadow. (I love Maybelline's Color Tattoo, cause you can just use your finger to apply it to the inner corners of your eyes for an instant awake look!)
Always, always bring sunscreen, and I'll usually bring a special SPF facial moisturiser as part of my camping beauty kit. Toss in a detangling spray (to tame that fresh from the lake hair,) and a couple of hair ties, deodorant, and I'm good to go. Keep in mind that mosquitoes and bugs are drawn to the perfumes used in most lotions and products, so the less you have on...the less you'll be rocking the Chamomile lotion look.

Some important things to keep in mind when selecting your clothes... they will most likely get dirty, possibly muddy and for sure will have that, ever so wonderful and equally hard to get out, smell of the campfire. So don't bring anything fancy or hard to wash, or uncomfortable for that matter. Camping is about kicking back and simplifying things. Comfort rules the grounds. I mean, how easily could you out

It is important to remember that style and fashion have their places, but sometimes, it's just about being comfy, kicking back and getting a little dirty.
